Meet Our Team of Clinical Specialists
My goal as a clinician is to help guide my clients on their own healing journeys toward self-exploration and acceptance. My practice is open to adults, adolescents, and couples. I have experience working with victims and perpetrators of domestic violence, self-esteem, addiction, personality disorders, trauma disorders, depression, and anxiety.
I carry an integrative approach to therapy to include such techniques; brainmapping and neurofeedback, client centered, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), motivational interviewing, accudetox, and mind body connectedness.
Understanding that each person’s journey is unique, my goal is to tailor my approach to meet the specific needs of my clients. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, grief, or life transitions, I am here to provide guidance and support. Our aim will be to empower you to make positive changes, enhance your well-being, and achieve a healthier, more fulfilling life. Together, we will work towards overcoming obstacles and building resilience, ensuring that you feel heard, understood, and valued throughout the therapeutic process.
I pride myself on a holistic approach grounded in principles of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), all while remaining strengths-based and client-centered. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, older adults, and couples/families.
Sometimes people come to therapy because they’re anxious or depressed, or because they have a diagnosed mental health condition. Sometimes they come because they’re exhausted from just trying to manage life. They know something needs to change, but they don’t know where to start.
I believe therapy isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you better understand yourself, recognize the patterns keeping you stuck, and build a life that feels authentic and meaningful- not just manageable. My goal is to create a space where you can slow down, take a deep breath, and begin reconnecting with the person underneath all the stress, fear, self-doubt, or expectations you’ve been carrying. Together we’ll celebrate your strengths, process difficult experiences, and work toward lasting change beyond temporary symptom relief.
My background includes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed yoga, somatic and nervous system integration, and mindfulness-based interventions. I enjoy working with couples and individuals of all ages, including those navigating trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, transitions, self-esteem, and questions of identity and purpose.
Whether you’re healing from something painful or simply feeling like you’ve lost yourself along the way, I’d be honored to help you reconnect with who you are and move toward the life you want to create.
Starting the journey toward healing and growth can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to provide a supportive, down-to-earth space where you can feel heard, respected, and empowered. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed in both Colorado and Arkansas, with experience working across the lifespan—from children and adolescents to adults of all ages. I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients in residential treatment programs, outpatient settings, and school-based programs. These diverse experiences have shaped my holistic, trauma-informed approach to care.
I have a special passion for working with teens and adults, supporting clients through anxiety, depression, mood disorders, life transitions, and severe mental illness, including schizophrenia spectrum disorders and other psychotic disorders. I strive to create a safe and empowering space where healing can happen at your pace.
I use evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and motivational interviewing to help clients build resilience, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward their goals with confidence and clarity.
If searching for a therapist feels overwhelming, you’re not alone. I strive to create a therapy space that’s approachable, collaborative, and grounded in real life.
I’m Katherine, a Licensed Social Worker and registered yoga teacher. I take a holistic, trauma-informed approach to therapy that considers both the mind and the body.
I draw from approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). In plain terms, this means helping you understand and work with anxious or unhelpful thoughts, build emotional regulation skills, tolerate distress more effectively, and reconnect with what matters most to you. I also integrate mindfulness, meditation, and somatic practices when helpful.
I work with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use concerns, life transitions, and serious mental illness. My background includes working with survivors of domestic violence, children and teenagers who have experienced severe trauma, and veterans navigating complex mental health challenges. As a veteran myself, I bring a strong understanding of military culture and the unique stressors that can come with service and reintegration.
My style is compassionate, practical, and down to earth. We’ll always move at your pace and focus on tools that actually fit your life. If you’re looking for a therapist who is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping you build a more values aligned, meaningful life, I’d be glad to connect.
Life can get overwhelming sometimes, and therapy can be a place to slow things down, feel understood, and figure out what actually helps. My approach with clients from 8 years to 99 years old, is warm, personable, and adaptable. I strive to create a space that feels genuine, approachable, and free of judgment. I draw from an eclectic-style of motivational interviewing, behavioral therapies (CBT and DBT), and other evidence-based approaches to help clients build insight, improve communication, and develop practical coping skills that carry into everyday life.
Together we can navigate anxiety, relationship stress, behavioral concerns, trauma, and life transitions. I especially enjoy helping clients feel understood, supported, and more confident in managing life’s challenges. I have experience working with ADHD, anger, addiction, personality disorders, narcissism, crisis situations, and domestic violence.
At the core of my work, is meeting you where you are. My goal is not only to help reduce symptoms, but to help you build confidence, clarity, and long-term resilience at a pace that feels right for you.
